PMI Account Executive (Servicing)

A forward-thinking Insurance firm, with several offices around the UK are now seeking to bring on board someone to manage an existing book of PMI business, currently standing at around 500 clients. This broker has grown impressively since their inception in 2016, and have big, exciting and innovative plans to develop the business going forward. This includes the launch of a new office in Stroud, which focuses on PMI business. You will join a small team, and work closely with the Partner here, who handles new business and have the full support on an experienced Account Handler too. With this role, there will also be the potential to move into a branch manager type role in the future as this office grows (should this be something that interests you).

As above you will be responsible for managing their existing PMI accounts, tasked with retention of these clients. This is mostly private individuals, but there are also some SME business clients as well as some overseas global clients too.
You will maintain a close relationship with clients to and develop these relationships with the aim of retaining their business, and occasionally step in for the Partner in their absence to handle new business.
We would be keen to speak to you if you have a background in PMI insurance, along with a proven track record of sales/retentions within this insurance space. You will also ideally hold the CII, though they will consider those without the CERT CII if you have the background they are looking for!
They are also looking for someone who matches their values. They genuinely care about the service every client receives, and the attention to detail they give every customer, so you will need to share this ethos!
In return, the salary on offer is £35-45,000, (though they can consider more for a very experienced candidate within the PMI market) plus 25 days holiday to start, private medical cover, death in service cover and a pension, annual performance based bonus, based on company and individual success, employee assistance program and an employee reward discount program too. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
